The Polish retailer Zabka will open in Bucharest, in the next period, five convenience stores under the Froo brand.

"In connection with our expansion on the Romanian market, we have started the stage of preparation for the opening of stores under the Froo brand. The first step is the opening of several locations for testing, one of which has already been operating since the beginning of May in Bucharest. The store was opened in the "friends&family" formula, its offers being available to a certain group of test customers," company officials said.

Froo Romania Retail SRL has already concluded lease contracts for the points where the company's first units will be opened.

Thus, in the next period, two convenience stores will be inaugurated in the second sector of the capital and two stores in the third sector. Also, on Giurgiului street no. 103-105, within the Progresul Square, the first Froo was already opened in May.

Zabka's plan is to reach a network of 200 stores in a short time.
