NEPI Rockcastle is finalizing the acquisition of a new photovoltaic park project, after the one recently purchased from the Monsson group. The company's plan is to reach photovoltaic parks with a capacity large enough to cover the energy consumption of the 27 malls it has in Romania by 2026. The investor recently completed the full takeover of the company developing a photovoltaic park project from the Monsson group. The project, already authorized, is designed for an installed power of 50 MW, on a site in the Chișineu-Criș area of Arad county. By the end of this year, NEPI Rockcastle representatives announced that they will finalize a transaction to acquire a new photovoltaic park project, also already authorized, to be built next year. Although they could not reveal the location of the new project, company representatives mentioned that it will not be in the west of the country, in order to have adequate geographical coverage.
