Symmetrica has completed its new factory in Bolintin Vale (Giurgiu County), the largest concrete paving and slab production unit in the company’s network, but also in the South-Eastern Europe area. Developed through an investment of almost EUR 50 million, the factory currently has three of its four production lines functional and will become fully operational in the summer of this year. After the completion of the works and the installation of the fourth line, the new factory, which covers an area of 18,000 sqm, will reach a daily capacity of 15,000 sqm, resulting in a 30% increase in the company’s total production. “The Bolintin Vale factory project involved the integration of state-of-the-art, highly performing equipment to support both efficiency and the development of our premium product range. We are now in the final stage of this process, the first three lines have been put into operation, and after the installation of the fourth, scheduled for summer this year, the production unit will become fully functional, contributing to the development and consolidation of Symmetrica’s position on the local and regional market,” said Sebastian Bobu, Executive Director of Symmetrica. Symmetrica is a 100% Romanian company, producing vibropressed pedestrian and road pavers, curbs and gutters, in a wide range of shapes and colors. Source: Profit.ro
