Average apartment prices, old and new, increased by 12% in March 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, according to the latest data from Storia, the real estate platform launched by OLX. “In March, Cluj-Napoca and Braşov are among the cities with the highest prices per square meter for both new and old apartments, reflecting a constant demand and increased interest in these markets. In the new apartment segment, Constanța occupies the third position in the ranking, while, in the old housing market, Bucharest is in third place, confirming the price trends in large urban centers.”, said Monica Dudău, Head of Marketing Real Estate Europe OLX Group. The average price in Bucharest was 1,963 euros/sqm, up 9% compared to March 2024. Old apartments were, on average, 21% more expensive compared to March 2024, with an average price of 2,140 euros/sqm, while new apartments increased by only 1%, reaching a price of 1,835 euros/sqm.
