The XXXLutz group is preparing an investment estimated at EUR 23.2 million in the construction of two furniture stores next to each other: XXXLutz and Mömax, with a total area of over 25,000 square meters. The new stores will be built in Balotești, on land owned by the Austrian group A-Heat, which also owns the neighboring Therme wellness complex. Kaufland Balotești operates next to the future furniture stores, and across the street, the DNI Value Center retail park of the South Africans from MAS. The XXXLutz group is present on the local market through its two brands, XXXLutz, which has two physical stores in Bucharest (taken over in 2019 from Kika), and Mömax, with 6 stores in Arad, Oradea, Ploiești, Pitești, Cluj and Timișoara.
