The Hungarian government is to soon decide on extending the suspension period on loan repayments, and if this happens many Hungarians will decide not to repay their loans. This information comes from a poll conducted by Pulzus Kupató for napi.hu, and it claims that approximately one in three people with a loan will decide not to repay it during the time the loans are frozen. Currently all of those with loans have a probation period until 31 December 2020 during which they don’t have to repay the banks.
