Alesonor announces the start of construction on the Pescariu Sports and Leisure Center in the Amber Forest suburb. With an estimated investment of EUR 8 million, the project is scheduled for completion at the end of 2026 and will provide premium amenities that promote a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Conceived as the main sports, wellness, and leisure hub for North Bucharest and Ilfov, the center will serve both Amber Forest residents and the wider community across the region.

As part of Alesonor’s long-term vision to develop sustainable, integrated neighbourhoods, the company has partnered with Pescariu Sports&Spa to create a 12,000 sqm complex. The project will feature outdoor tennis and padel courts, two leisure pools (for adults and children), and a 2,200 sqm central building that will include a semi-Olympic swimming pool, a modern spa, and a premium fitness club. In line with Amber Forest’s green standards, the facility will be built to nZEB requirements, in accordance with the suburb’s Platinum LEED v4.1 Cities & Communities certification.

“With this sports and wellness center, operated by Pescariu Sports&Spa – a recognized leader in the field – we are taking another important step toward our goal of building a sustainable, well-rounded community. Amber Forest was envisioned as an active contributor to improving people’s lives, and Pescariu is the right partner to help bring this vision to life. We carefully studied our residents’ preferences, as well as the regional market, and we are confident this project will become a landmark not only for families in Amber Forest but also for people throughout North Bucharest and Ilfov who are looking for a comprehensive destination for wellness, sports, and leisure.”, said Alex Skouras, Managing Partner of Alesonor.

Developed across 31 hectares with only 15% built area, Amber Forest has earned Platinum LEED v4.1 for Communities: Planning and Design, becoming the first residential project in Europe to achieve this certification. To date, more than 550 of the planned 690 homes have been sold, with over 200 families already moved in.
