Aplisens expects significantly higher year-on-year capital expenditures in 2022, President Adam Żurawski informed. Will be directed, among others for a photovoltaic project.

"We are thinking about expenses for 2022 and they will be much more solid. The current uncertainty is not conducive to investments, moreover, investments in production capacity have been completed recently and the level of equipment was sufficient," said Żurawski during the press conference.

He explained that next year's investments will be a response to today's "problems" of the group, resulting from expensive energy and high labor costs.

"We are in pain with expensive energy and expensive gas, so there will be expenditures to reduce the consumption of purchased energy. We are planning a large investment in photovoltaics. The second problem is the pressure on wages, so we will invest to increase automation and work efficiency," pointed out the president.

Financial Director Agnieszka Machnikowska-Żółtek reminded that the current year was not full of investments, which amounted to approximately PLN 4.3 million in the period of 9 months and "it will not change much" in the context of the whole year.
