More than 500 jobs will hit the Kraków market with the recent opening of Euroclear Bank’s first Polish branch. “We expect to run our Kraków’s office the same way as our Belgian headquarters,” the company announced in a statement. “We plan to hire more than 500 employees in the coming years.” Euroclear Bank provides settlement and related security services for cross-border transactions. It has offices in France and the UK and manages €22bn in assets. The bank said Kraków’s strong position on the global financial market was a key reason behind its decision to open a branch in the city.
