Gigi Becali bought the Inter hotel in the Venus resort

The businessman Gheorghe Becali bought for RON 6,2 million, the Inter hotel from the Venus resort, from the portfolio of the Interagro group, controlled by the businessman Ioan Niculae and in insolvency since 2016.

The hotel unit was put up for sale in the spring for EUR 8,9 million, the price being gradually reduced. The hotel had been renovated following an investment of EUR 10 million and subsequently closed in 2013.

The hotel, built in 1971, has 5 floors, 98 rooms, a built area of 2.670 sqm and a plot of 4.584 sqm, with direct access to the beach, two restaurants and an outdoor pool.
