Ostrava residents have gained a new eco-friendly coworking space, thanks to the initiative by the non-profit organization Koutek světa pro děti (Corner of the World for Children). This unique community module was developed as part of the TVOŘÍME PROSTOR public space revitalization program by the City of Ostrava, with significant support from the construction group HSF System, a member of the PURPOSIA Group holding.

The outdoor coworking space, featuring a hybrid module, is situated in the recreation zone at Černá louka in Ostrava. “In addition to the design, project documentation, and production of a sustainable and innovative module, we provided financial support to ensure the outdoor coworking space’s self-sufficiency without relying on the power grid,” said Miroslav Krop, director of the Ostrava plant for the HSF System construction group.

Equipped with four photovoltaic panels, the ecological module generates electricity to power laptops, tablets, and mobile phones, including Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to work in a pleasant, natural outdoor setting.

“From the start, our goal was to cater to working parents and mothers on maternity leave, which is why we chose a location next to the playground,” said Kristýna Leichtová from Corner of the World for Children. She added, “This innovative project promotes creative work, health, and ecological living, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation.”
