Doric Green Power GmbH & Co. KG has officially launched its newest solar park in the municipality of Niederorschel, Thuringia, marking a significant step in the region’s push toward renewable energy. The plant received its final sign-off on August 30, 2024, and is now fully operational.

The solar park was developed in partnership with ib vogt GmbH, a Berlin-based company recognized as a global leader in solar power development. Spanning 8.4 hectares, the facility is equipped with 16,900 solar modules and 32 inverters, delivering a nominal output of 9,600 kWp.

“This solar park in Niederorschel is just the beginning. We are committed to further enhancing sustainability in Thuringia and advancing the energy transition in the region,” stated Tobias Reber, Head of Renewable Energy Portfolio Management at Doric.

Doric Green Power is actively expanding its renewable energy portfolio, with investments in four other photovoltaic plants across various locations in Germany.
