One United Properties scrapped plans to build an office tower at its One Verdi Park project in Bucharest and instead will now develop two blocks of flats. The developer’s initial plan for the scheme included a 17-floor office tower, offering 21,000 sqm of commercial space, alongside a residential tower, consisting of 134 apartments on 21 floors. One Verdi Park is scheduled for completion in the last quarter of 2021.
“We decided to change the strategy for the One Verdi Park project, so that we can increase the offer of residential units here and expand it in the second tower of the project, which thus becomes as exclusive as One Mircea Eliade. The facades are being redesigned, we are working with architects who designed the facade at One Charles de Gaulle: Bueso-Inchausti & Rein Arquitectos in Madrid,” said Beatrice Dumitrascu, vice president of the residential division at One United Properties.
