Procurement prices for basic agricultural products down 1.7% in July

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products in Poland decreased in July by 1.7 percent m-o-m and by 4.2 percent y-o-y, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). In July, procurement prices of most agricultural products decreased when compared to the previous month. Prices for maize, cattle for slaughter, poultry and cow milk were higher. Prices of most agricultural products in procurement and on marketplaces were lower when compared with the same month last year. However, prices for wheat, triticale and cow milk in procurement as well as prices for maize and cattle for slaughter (in procurement and on marketplaces) increased, according to GUS.
