Serbia grants land for factory construction to Turkish company Erenli

Serbia's approved the delivery of 7.6 hectares of land to Turkish company Erenli for the construction of a EUR 16.65 million factory for automotive cooling systems in Leskovac, eastern Serbia. The products manufactured will be sold to Daimler Mercedes, FCA, PSA, Renault, Nissan, Volkswagen, Kia, BMW and Hyundai.

The Turkish investor pledged to open 338 jobs at the factory, according to Serbia's state aid commission. Erenli plans to implement the project through its Serbian subsidiary Erenli Leskovac established in May 2021.
