Serbia plans to acquire a 15 percent stake in Hungary's Paks nuclear power plant, according to Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic.

"Our wish is to become owners of a 15 percent stake in their NPP and we are ready to pay a good price for that," Vucic said in a video file posted on the YouTube channel of news agency Tanjug.

"However, those negotiations are still in an initial phase and the expansion of Paks NPP will not be completed until 2035," Vucic added.
