Hesburger chain enters Romania, begins expansion

Hesburger, the largest fast-service restaurant chain in Finland and the Baltic countries, has entered the Romanian market, with the first restaurant in Râmnicu Vâlcea Recently, the company announced that it is preparing another restaurant on the local market, at the Henri Coandă - Otopeni airport, but also in Brăila, in the local mall. The company also launched the employee recruitment procedure for the new restaurants.

The Ramnicu Valcea restaurant is located on the second floor of the Shopping City Râmnicu Valcea shopping center, in the food court area. Through the inauguration of this new restaurant, 30 new jobs were created.

A family business with a history of over 50 years, Hesburger currently operates in 9 countries and has over 470 restaurants. In 2023, the sales turnover for all Hesburger restaurants in Finland was EUR 286 million, and for those located outside Finland, EUR 172 million.
