The unemployment rate in Poland was 3.4% in September

The seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate in Poland was 3.4% in September 2021, compared to 3.4% in the previous month, the EU statistical office Eurostat reported.

A lower index than Poland was recorded by the Czech Republic (2.6%), the Netherlands (3.1%) and Malta (3.1%). Germany had the same rate as Poland (3.4%).

The number of unemployed in Poland amounted to 574,000 in September against 575,000 a month earlier.

In the entire EU, the unemployment rate in this approach amounted to 6.7% in September.

According to the data of the Central Statistical Office (GUS), the unemployment rate, measured as a percentage of the unemployed registered in labor offices in relation to the entire civilian population, was 5.6% at the end of September 2021, it fell by 0.2 percentage points towards August this year.
