Transactions of over EUR 250 million to be concluded on the industrial market in 2021

Almost EUR 80 million is the value of transactions for industrial properties sold in the first half of this year, according to data from the real estate consulting company CBRE. This year, the volume of transactions is expected to exceed EUR 250 million, only in this segment.

"Investors' interest in quality industrial projects is growing, and Fortress REIT's entry into the local market is a new vote of confidence for Romania. We estimate that this year there will be transactions of over EUR 250 million on the industrial market ", said Mihai Pătrulescu, CBRE.

The modern stock of industrial spaces reached approximately 5.38 million sqm at the end of the first six months of 2021, after 240,000 sqm were delivered in the first half, according to CBRE Research.
