Yesterdy a purchase agreement was signed between the VICUS GROUP AG and the city of Leipzig for the sale of the Kohlrabizirkus property in Leipzig. The city thus followed the vote of the city council last Wednesday, July 21, 2021, to purchase the property for a purchase price of EUR 11.5 million.

“I am happy that we were able to create a perspective for the kohlrabi circus within a few months. This has only become possible thanks to the commitment of all those involved. I would therefore like to expressly thank the VICUS GROUP AG for the trusting cooperation,” comments Matthias Kaufmann, head of the property office of the city of Leipzig.

The board of directors of VICUS GROUP AG, consisting of Michael Klemmer and Gabriel Schütze, welcomes the decision of the city council and is very pleased that the property will be in the hands of the city in the future, as the sale forms the basis for the sporting and cultural use of the property and thus an important building block for the further development of the city of Leipzig has been laid.
