Anna Essler-Lango and Karol Wyrzykowski take the helm at APA Wojciechowski Architects’ Tricity
APA Wojciechowski Architects has announced a leadership change at its Tricity branch, with Anna Essler-Lango appointed as the new head of the office, effective from September 2024. Essler-Lango will be supported by Karol Wyrzykowski, and both have been promoted to partners within the company.
This transition follows the planned departure of Dżafar Bajraszewski, who has managed the Tricity branch for the past nine years. Bajraszewski, along with colleague Piotr Steckiewicz, will be leaving the company at the end of August to pursue independent business ventures.
“We are deeply grateful to Dżafar and Piotr for their years of dedication and contribution to our projects in Tricity. Their commitment and responsibility in ensuring a smooth transition have been commendable,” said Szymon Wojciechowski, President of the Management Board and Architect-Partner at APA Wojciechowski Architects. “Anna has been involved in the management of our Tricity branch for some time now, and we plan to continue collaborating with Dżafar and Piotr in the future.”
Anna Essler-Lango, an experienced architect and graduate of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, has been with APA Wojciechowski Architects since 2019, most recently serving as Lead Architect. Her portfolio includes notable projects such as DOKI-Office in Gdańsk, Nova Silesia in Katowice, and the B10 building in Wrocław, along with several residential developments like Riverview II in Gdańsk.
Karol Wyrzykowski, who has been with the firm since 2016, will focus on the technical aspects of the branch’s operations. A graduate of the Gdańsk University of Technology, Wyrzykowski has led numerous projects and served as a BIM coordinator.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Essler-Lango said, “It is a great honor to lead our Tricity branch, and I am proud to be entrusted with this responsibility. I look forward to tackling new design challenges alongside Karol and our talented team. I am grateful for the support I received from Dżafar and Piotr, which has been instrumental in my development within the company.”
Szymon Wojciechowski added, “We believe this well-planned and smooth transition will provide fresh momentum for our 20-person seaside branch and the entire company. We look forward to continued success and even some beach volleyball with Dżafar and Piotr in Gdynia.”
