CGMB decided to suspend the sector PUZs for one year

The General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest has decided that the Urban Zonal Plans for sectors 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be suspended for a period of one year, according to the decisions adopted in the Friday meeting of the General Council of the Capital with 29 votes "for" and 23 "against”. Thus, during the suspension of the sector PUZs, it"will be analized the inconsistencies with the applicable legislation in the field of urbanism, in order to identify non-compliant situations.

These provisions do not apply to town planning certificates for authorization issued prior to the adoption of suspension decisions and building permits in the process of being issued and for which town planning certificates have already been issued. The requests for the issuance of urban planning certificates for authorization submitted unresolved will be solved according to the specific legislation in force.
