At least ten stores in the Unirea Shopping Center in Bucharest have closed. These include Bershka, Kenvelo, Pull & Bear, DeFacto, Only for you, Diverta, Kiwi and Bata. The tenants of the mall said that the main reason why the stores were closed is because of the management, which does not work as a mutually beneficial business to tenants and customers. They specify that it was not their desire to leave, but they were forced after trying countless times to negotiate contracts with the owner. While some companies chose not to renew the contract, other stores received notifications ordering them to evacuate the spaces from Unirea Shopping Center for non-compliance with the rent payment date. Unirea Shopping Center was among the main shopping centers that offered a wide range of products, now the mall has fallen a lot in the eyes of customers, and it seems almost abbandoned.
