Fourlis prepares to launch first Holland & Barrett stores in Romania

Greek retail company Fourlis is gearing up to introduce the Holland & Barrett brand to Romania, marking the debut of one of Europe’s largest health and wellness chains in the country. Known for its range of food supplements and vegan products, the British brand is set to make a significant entry into the Romanian market.

Fourlis, which already operates the Intersport franchise in Romania, plans to open 60 Holland & Barrett stores across the country. This expansion is part of a broader strategy to launch 120 stores across Romania, Greece, and Bulgaria, aiming to establish Fourlis as a leader in the wellness products sector in the region. Of the total, 40 stores will open in Greece and 20 in Bulgaria.

The first Romanian stores will be strategically located in high-traffic areas, such as shopping malls and major retail streets, to ensure easy accessibility and visibility. This move underscores Fourlis’ commitment to capturing a significant share of the health and wellness market in Romania.
