The joint venture between Art-Invest Real Estate and Die Wohnkompanie Rhein-Main has secured the City of Hanau as a tenant for around 5,700 m² of rental space in the Hanow Business Triangle. The city of Hanau will move into the space in 2025, before which it will be developed. The campus with its life science and educational character has been owned by the joint venture since March 2020 and is now fully let. The campus has been extensively renovated since 2020, including the façades, roof areas and heat supply.

"We are delighted with our new tenant for the Hanow Business Triangle and warmly welcome the city of Hanau. The completion and, as a result, the full occupancy demonstrate the success of the strategic repositioning of the site, which has significantly and sustainably increased its attractiveness for our tenants," commented Stephen von der Brüggen, Managing Director and Branch Manager Frankfurt at Art-Invest Real Estate.

"Hanau's imminent move to a district-free city on 1 January 2026 will generate additional space requirements," explains Claus Kaminsky, Lord Mayor of Hanau. "By renting space in the Business Triangle, the city is embracing the idea of 'short distances' for customers."

With the letting to the city of Hanau, the approximately 29,000 m² quarter is now 100% let. In addition to its excellent strategic location between the main railway station and the city centre directly on Kurt-Blaum-Platz, the tenant was particularly impressed by the campus feeling with the mix of leisure activities, a future café, the inner courtyard design and a prestigious façade as well as the flexibility of the space.
