GARBE Industrial Real Estate expands in Poland with new leadership appointments
GARBE Industrial Real Estate is advancing its expansion into Poland with new development projects. To spearhead this growth, GARBE has appointed Adrian Biesaga and Michał Stachura as Managing Directors and members of the local subsidiary’s management board, effective September 2024.
Both Biesaga and Stachura join GARBE from LCube, where they successfully managed warehouse developments. Their extensive experience and proven track record in a competitive market, including strong relationships with tenants, investors, and financial partners, are expected to drive GARBE’s expansion efforts in Poland.
Martin Polák, Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe at GARBE, expressed enthusiasm about the new appointments. “We are excited to welcome Adrian and Michał to the GARBE family. Their expertise and deep understanding of the Polish market will be crucial as we advance our ambitious plans and uphold our commitment to sustainability, technical innovation, and top-quality developments. Poland’s industrial and warehouse space market has demonstrated exceptional demand in the first half of 2024, making it a prime focus for our expansion,” Polák stated.
In his role, Adrian Biesaga will oversee the development of GARBE’s real estate portfolio in Poland. With 20 years in the construction sector, Biesaga’s responsibilities will range from project planning to investment handovers. Prior to joining GARBE, he co-founded and served as a board member at LCube and held a development leadership role at P3 Logistic Parks. Biesaga is an alumnus of Warsaw University of Technology and Kozminski University, holding qualifications as a BREEAM Assessor and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Michał Stachura will focus on financing and investor relations. With over 15 years of experience in finance and corporate banking, Stachura will manage investment activities and secure funding for new projects. His previous roles include co-founder and board member at LCube. He holds degrees from Kozminski University (MBA), the University of Szczecin, and WSB Merito Poznan University, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute in Poland.
GARBE’s expansion strategy in Poland aims to create a diverse investment portfolio, including city logistics assets, medium-sized warehouses, and large-scale logistics parks. Initial focus will be on key locations such as Warsaw, central Poland, Silesia, Tricity, Cracow, Poznan, and Wroclaw. By the end of 2025, GARBE plans to secure land for new developments totaling approximately 500,000 square meters and to further enhance its local team in Poland.
