Gazprom and Shell concluded a five-year agreement on strategic cooperation, according to the Russian gas holding. The agreement builds on an earlier strategic cooperation commitment signed between the companies in 2015.
The companies will focus on energy markets research, the implementation of projects along the entire value chain, cooperation in digitalisation of technologies, as well as greenhouse gas emissions reduction.

"We have made a new step in the development of our cooperation. The very signing of the agreement proves that our joint work has brought good results and that we establish ambitious goals for both the short term and the long term,” said the Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee.
