National Housing Agency (ANL) housing intended exclusively for rent to young specialists in education or health will no longer be able to be sold, according to an emergency ordinance adopted by the Government. At the same time, minimum rental rates for ANL housing have been set and local authorities will be penalised if they do not transfer rents to the budget on time.

The law stipulates that housing can be sold to lease holders after the expiry of a minimum of 6 consecutive years from the date of the lease. However, the Government has now decided to exclude the sale of housing from the procedure, taking into account the situations that have occurred at the local level with the disposal of these types of housing after their purchase. In other words, the Executive is implying that these houses were bought only to be resold later.
