ID Logistics, one of the European leaders in contract logistics, strengthens its e-commerce offer in the field of deliveries to individual customers. The operator took over 100% of the shares of the French company Colisweb, specializing in organizing last mile deliveries.

The acquisition of Colisweb is to strengthen the offer of ID Logistics addressed to retail chains and e-sellers. The last mile deliveries in which this logistics platform specializes are a key step in organizing your e-commerce supply chains, especially for large or bulk shipments.

Established in 2013, Colisweb organizes last mile deliveries of shipments up to 1800 kg by appointment, with a D or D + 1 delivery time, in 2-hour time slots, with assembly, commissioning and collection options for packaging and old equipment. The company offers a unique multi-channel software solution on the market, providing an optimized interface between a retailer, carrier and end customer:
- a retailer responds to the needs of its customers by guaranteeing them delivery at the best possible price: to their home or point of delivery, from a store or warehouse;
- the carrier plans and optimizes routes using the Colisweb algorithm, while reducing the environmental impact of its transport activities;
- the end customer benefits from the flexibility of services, the ability to monitor the delivery of the shipment in real time and assess the quality of the service provided.

Thanks to an extensive partner network made up of 1,500 driver-suppliers, Colisweb operates throughout France, and its customers include companies from various industries, especially DIY, furniture and decorating. 2021 will close with a turnover of approx. EUR 30 million and nearly EUR 750,000 delivered parcels.

The integration of Colisweb solutions with the offer of ID Logistics will allow for the preparation of a unique solution in this rapidly growing market. Additionally, Colisweb will remain autonomous within the ID Logistics Group, with its own management team. Using the investment and development potential of ID Logistics will facilitate the expansion of its network in Europe.

TRANSACTION DETAILS
The purchase price, fully paid in cash, was established on the basis of the goodwill of EUR 24 million. A price supplement of up to EUR 14 million may be paid in 2023 and 2024 depending on the achievement of the Colisweb development goals. The transaction is scheduled for completion in early 2022.

"We are very pleased with the project that will allow us to offer our current and future customers optimal solutions combining know-how in warehouse management, transport organization and final deliveries, from stores or platforms. logistics. We are sure that the quality of the Colisweb teams is decisive for the success of the new project," said Eric Hémar, CEO of ID Logistics Group.

“We are very proud of the merger, which is setting a new direction for our company to grow. Since its inception, Colisweb has been supporting customers in delivering from stores tailored to their needs. The merger will accelerate the development of our services from domestic logistics platforms, and thus provide a unique offer on the market of heavy and large-size shipments. Entrepreneurship and innovation, inscribed in the DNA of the ID Logistics Group, are real assets that guarantee the success of this operation," said Rémi Lengaigne, CEO and co-founder of Colisweb.
