The company isklad has leased 6,500 sqm of modern warehouse space in the Austrian developer Karimpol Group's Bratislava Logistics Park in Senec outside Bratislava. The company, which provides both a software and warehouse solution for e-shops of all sizes, has an option to lease an additional 3,200 sqm at the site. Securing the real estate was crucial to isklad's future as its growth has been limited by the lack of warehouse space around the Slovak capital. "The property excellently meets all isklad's requirements, which enables the client to compete with any fulfillment center in CEE region or across Europe," says Tomas Kulacs of JLL, which facilitated the transaction. Isklad was founded seven years and began providing fulfillment services in 2016. Since that time, it's worked with more than 100 e-shops to process 1.5 million orders, achieving €2.6 million in turnover in 2019. It then began working with the investment platform Crowdberry, which enables private investors from the Czech Republic and Slovakia to invest in carefully chosen companies and real estate opportunities. As a technology company, isklad has significant advantage over its competitors, which in most cases operates on manual or less automated processes," said Crowdberry partner Michal Ondrišek. "isklad brings change and from the investment point of view, we positively perceive not only the attractiveness of the e-commerce segment, but also the business strategy and experience of the isklad team."
