Muehlbauer to build battery machinery plant in Serbia

The German company Muehlbauer Automation doo Stara Pazova, part of Muehlbauer Group, is planning to build a technology park for the assembling of parts for machines for the production of batteries and fuel cells in the north part of the East Business Zone in Stara Pazova.

The preliminary design which was prepared by NORTH Engineering doo Subotica encompasses the construction of a production facility with three floors, with an office part.

The investment of Muehlbauer Group in Serbia arrives a year after the announcement of the Ministry of Economy about new investments in the sectors of the automotive industry and the production of electrical equipment, worth EUR 180 million.

It was also announced at the time that, by the end of 2025, Muehlbauer Automation planned to invest EUR 29.5 million in the construction of a new factory for the production of machines for the production of batteries and fuel cells in Stara Pazova and employ 150 new workers.
