New Year brings good news to Polish employees

The minimum monthly wage in Poland has increased from PLN 2,600 gross (EUR 585) to PLN 2,800 gross (EUR 630) from the 1st January 2021, up by 7.7 percent. In 2021, the minimum hourly rate increased to PLN 18.30 gross (EUR 4.12) from PLN 17.00 gross (EUR 3.83). Raising of the minimum wage in 2021 will increase state budget spending by PLN 385.8 million (EUR 86.9 mln) and the minimum hourly rate hike will boost the budget expenditures by PLN 2.5 million (EUR 563,000).
