New measures have been introduced in the capital of Bulgaria since yesterday to protect citizens from the pandemic, namely an order was issued to close bars, clubs and discos from October 25, and it will last until November 8. Also, by the decision of the headquarters in Sofia, it recommends employers to introduce an organization for work from home, for work in shifts or for individual teams, where possible and in accordance with the specifics of the job. What is also possible is that high school students will be sent to distance learning.

Sofia Mayor Jordanka Fandakova stated that the measures in Sofia are the easiest at the moment, but that they expect that there may be resistance. She explained that what is happening is being monitored in European cities as well, where in many places there are already stricter restrictions, including the closure of restaurants.
