The Austrians from Leier want to open a new production line in Iasi

The Austrians from Leier, who have four construction materials factories on the local market, intend to inaugurate, by the end of the year, a new section at one of the production units, the one in Iaşi. Slabs, pavers, curbs and masonry will be produced there.

"During 2021 we continued the investment of over EUR 20 million in Iasi, where we are in the last phase of the project and we have plans to open the new section during this year. This project aims to increase the market coverage with complete solutions for construction and reduce delivery costs, by approaching the northeastern market of Romania, " Says Thomas Ebner, CEO of the group.
