Amazon raises salaries for Czech employees

Amazon introduces new highly competitive reward packages. Together with bonuses, employees in entry positions will now earn at least CZK 32,411 gross per month, and executive salaries will start at CZK 40,068 gross.

Amazon announced that based on the results of the annual salary review, the company in the Czech Republic will increase salaries to CZK 182 / h for entry positions and to CZK 225 / h for senior positions. Together with the attendance bonus, employees in entry positions earn between CZK 32,411 and CZK 34,726 gross per month, while team leaders earn between CZK 40,068 and CZK 42,739, depending on the length of their internship.

We are pleased to announce that this year we are increasing our starting salary to CZK 182 / h. This is good news for our current and seasonal employees. This year, Amazon reviewed data from more than 80 other local employers and compared wages and benefits with similar positions in the regions where Amazon operates. The new wage structure will apply from August 1, 2021 and will also benefit seasonal employees who will support the company during peak hours.

"In addition to a highly competitive salary, Amazon also offers attractive benefits including subsidized meals and free transport to work, as well as an innovative Career Choice training program, in which we pay employees up to 120,000 crowns over four years to help individuals expand career opportunities in within or outside the company,” says Zuzana Zajacová, HR Manager of Amazon for the Czech market.
