Chrudim will sell additional land in the West industrial zone

Chrudim will sell more land in the West industrial zone. Representatives on Monday approved purchase agreements with three companies that were interested in them. This will bring the city a total of almost 13.5 million crowns, including VAT, Deputy Mayor Petr Lichtenberg (Chrudimáci) said today.

The Chrudim companies Monas Trade Company and Redleta will jointly buy about 5,000 sqm. The first deals with the distribution of hair cosmetics, the second with the production, sale and service of hydraulic equipment. They want to build warehouses and administrative facilities in the zone. Both companies promise to create around ten new jobs.

Another 12,000 sqm will be bought by the local company Burkoň, which sells roofing and plumbing products and performs carpentry, roofing and plumbing work. He wants to build a storage hall, a plumbing workshop and outdoor storage areas on the land. The existing complex is no longer enough for her needs, the company expects the creation of ten new jobs.

In December, representatives approved the sale of approximately 5,000 sqm to Stavební huť Slatiňany in the West industrial zone. It wants to build a new headquarters and production area on the plot, which will include the company's administrative facilities, production hall, warehouses and parking areas. The total value of the transaction is about CZK 3.25 million without VAT.

The West industrial zone with an area of ​​33 hectares, the establishment of which cost Chrudim about CZK 100 million, is largely full. For example, the Chrudim company Dřevovýroba Ficek or the manufacturer of tubes for Siag wind farms work here. The city also sold the land to the company Sofiko, which produces baking sheets and various types of molds for bakeries, or the manufacturer of car shock absorbers Kayaba. The plots in the West industrial zone are also owned by the Austrian chain manufacturer Pewag. The town hall has kept the land on which the city wants to build a second larger collection yard. The smaller industrial zone North at the exit from the city to Pardubice is already sold out.
