Draslovka will buy a division of the American company Chemours for CZK 11.3 billion

Czech chemical producer Draslovka Holding will buy the Mining Solutions division of the American company The Chemors Company for more than CZK 11.3 billion. This acquisition represents Draslovka's first significant investment in the USA, Vít Kurfürst, a media representative of the company. In mid-July, Draslovka announced the purchase of a company for the production of sodium cyanide in South Africa for CZK 2.23 billion.

According to the company, the merger of Draslovka and Chemours in mining and chemical solutions will create a leading multinational company better able to serve customers around the world through a combination of technological knowledge and innovation.

Draslovka Holding a.s. is a private holding company based in the Czech Republic, which deals with special chemicals and its own production technologies. It is owned by four Czech families.
